Sophie graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science in 2013 and went on to complete her Masters in Podiatry Practice in 2016. During that time, she worked across both the public and private health sectors before joining Highett Podiatry in 2017.
Sophie has also undertaken training in taping, dry needling, as well as time spent at the Australian Ballet in workshops focused on the lower limb and pre-pointe.
Sophie’s keen interest in cycling started after many years of watching from the sidelines, when her husband surprised with her own bike. Sophie enjoys her bayside weekend cycling with her friends and husband.
Outside of her podiatry work, you won’t see Sophie sitting down much! In her spare time she will be outdoors, camping, skiing, cycling or traveling the world.

Tristan Machutchison

Tristan is an accomplished and experienced sports podiatrist who has a passion for cycling and ankle injuries. He enjoys all things sports and is the Eastern Ranges Football Club Podiatrist. He can diagnose, manage and rehabilitate acute and chronic foot and ankle injuries. He is experienced in treating athletes & general population from kids through to adults.
Tristan has a keen interest in cycling. He's on the trainer during the week and riding 100kms + on weekends. Tristan understands the basic biomechanics associated with riding and understands the importance of good cycling shoes and cycling orthotics for a more comfortable and efficient ride. Being a cyclist himself, he is well versed in treating all your foot and ankle concerns in relation to cycling.
He is dedicated to his continuing education, attending seminars held by Sports Medicine Australia, The Australian Podiatry Association and Sports and Exercise Podiatry.
